What excites you about the next generation of artists?

At KGS, we value manual skills and work hard to develop them amongst our students.  We see them as the key that unlocks the full potential of the subject.  However, this does not mean that we shy away from new technologies.  My own teenage son has recently bought himself a 3-D printer.  Easy access to this device has opened my eyes to the creative possibilities it holds, and I shall be looking at ways we could incorporate this into our curriculum.  Traditional skills will always be highly-valued.  Digital technology merely expands the field and anything that does that must be a good thing, right?

Thanks Joe.  It is wonderful to hear such an enthusiastic story about Arts Education and we hope that other schools will benefit from the full range of our exhibitions which span across the year.
