Private Views are always a point of celebration.
Organisers and curators breathe a sigh of relief that the exhibition is up on time and looking as they envisaged it. Artists are happy and excited about their work being on display. Guests are pleased to be there and have the first glimpse of work before anyone else; the first opportunity to buy new work or see new work by an artist they follow or collect.
Private Views are perhaps even more valuable to us now, given we now know what it is like to do without them. To miss that sense of occasion which was so poignantly lacking throughout the period of COVID lockdowns.
We were delighted then to have around 200 people fill the Landmark Arts Centre on 24th February this year to have the first look at our Sculpture Showcase. We were delighted to hear from our Signature Artist, Jeremy Moulsdale, about his practice given that we were hugely privileged to be the first to exhibit one of his new works for 2023.
