Becoming the manager has been an interesting learning curve which I am really enjoying.]
For me it was important to have some type of time frame so I used emails from other SSS exhibitions which I have entered as an artist, to work out a timeline.
In that way, I had some idea when emails needed to be sent out, banners and notices printed, photo boards sorted out and signs for each piece of sculpture printed. To do this the manager needs the exhibitors to be compliant in returning emails and forms in order that I don’t have to chase them for information.
All the applications are taken via Cognito forms and Seamus Cuddihy is a great help in formatting the forms prior to them being posted on the website. He has also posted on the website useful hints for photography naming and formatting and there is information on exhibiting, plinths, series/editions. Etc.
