FOUND IMAGERY AND THE
INTERNET
(5 WEEKS)
This course provides an introduction
to the language of lens-based imagery
and to thinking photographically.
Students will develop a critical visual
fluency by dealing primarily with
existing imagery and, in turn, possess
an awareness of the flexibility of image
implication and context.

STILL LIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
(5 WEEKS)
This course provides an introduction
to photographic language concerning
images and the art object. Students
will focus on developing a basic
understanding of lighting techniques
for photographing three-dimensional
work while opening a dialogue
regarding image/object in the current
state of contemporary art.
