I had the pleasure of meeting Becki 5 years ago when we joined the same wom- en’s networking group. What I noticed was swarms of women gathered around her and thought, “who is SHE”? Then I realized there are always swarms of people around Becki because she radiates warmth, authenticity and kindness from every inch of her being. I have almost never met anyone with a bigger, kinder heart! And this personality suits her well in her industry – Branding, Media, and Event Photography. Becki owns Becki Freed Legacy Photography, a boutique photog- raphy service that specializes in providing high-end signature branding portraits for business professionals, and signature branding portraits for high school seniors. She and her branding team (professional hair stylist, makeup artist, and wardrobe stylist) work together to create the very best version of her clients, taking beautiful photos that allows their confidence to shine through. Becki part- ners with several business affiliates in order to help her clients with all their brand- ing needs including web design, logo and graphics design, personal brand coaching, event planning, musicians, and more. Becki’s Branding Advice… “When you own your own business, you are always visually setting expectations with your audience THROUGH your brand. A strong brand is consistent and intentional, and it positions you as a leader in your industry. Every photo you share should have your own unique “signature style” that is recognizable to your audience.” 1. Choose your color palette and incorporate the colors consistently into your photos, whether it is a color in your clothing, in a prop (like flowers a vase, etc), or in a backdrop behind you. Then include your colors sparingly, but consistently in your logo, in your font, and in other key aspects of your website and marketing materials. This cohesiveness between your images and your visual content creates great flow and appeals strongly to your audience, it actually makes them feel good and they want more! 2. Include a few candid shots of yourself doing what you love to do, along with a fabulous headshot and some banner images that leave space for you to add
