For the chief financial officer who finally decided she wouldn ’ t be made a scapegoat ; who didn ’ t just take what was being said and skulk meekly away , but stood up to ask “ why ” and say “ this isn ’ t right ”; overcoming years of cultural and personal reticence to speak up and be seen .
For the mother who saw how she provided the most stellar role modelling to her children around doing what you love AND loving being a mother , and realising the two are not mutually exclusive , and that she didn ’ t need to feel the guilt – indeed she could and should celebrate .

That she could choose a different path .
