The changes I've endured over the last sixteen years.
Born on August 7, 1997, weighing 8 pounds 7 ounces; I’ve come to the conclusion that my lucky number is 7. Mark and Colleen were proud to announce that they had a baby girl, and big brother Joe was excited that he had someone to fight with, beat up on, and also someone to protect.
You could say that my brother and I were the typical brother and sister. No matter how mad or upset we got at each other, we fought it out and got over it. As a baby, he would pull me around in a wagon and try to play "dump truck" to dump me off the back. We beat each other with fly swatters, wrestled to see who was stronger, and played bloody knuckles until someone started crying. As we got older and a little bit wiser, we knew that beating each other up didn’t really get us anywhere. Which led to us playing catch in the yard and having life talks. With a basketball court in our backyard, we spent our time shooting hoops or four-wheeling. Fishing everyday at the neighbor’s pond became a habit until it started to get super hot during the summer and then it turned into swimming. The only drawback of being young was not having a vehicle or a license to leave the house and go somewhere. Relying on parents or siblings was getting old. The day that I turned 14, I went to the courthouse right away and walked out with my permit on the first try. My parents said it was time to start looking for a vehicle. Since I love vehicle shopping, I already knew what I wanted, a Chevrolet Malibu. They said I could get whatever I wanted because it would have to last me through college. Three months after getting my permit my parents bought me exactly what I wanted! With the price of gas skyrocketing, I knew I had to make a little
