NEW YORK CITY

The Big Apple is known for its pizza, broadway, skyline, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, and the buzzing taxi cabs.

lNew York City is just as cool as everyone expects it. The amount of people is outrageous, and the city life is absolutely nothing like Northeast Iowa. Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State Building, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, World Trade Center, 911 Memorial, Ellis Island, and Chinatown are all places of attractions that are definitely worth visiting. People tend to not have the common courtesy we have around here. I visited a restaurant that spun you around while you ate so you could get a perspective of what the city looks like from above. It was probably one of the greatest experiences of my life. Taxi cab drivers are absolutely nuts, pepole tend to smoke in your face and the tour guides are amazing. New York is not just a place to get away for awhile, but it's definitely a great learning experience on the history of our nation from Ellis Island to the World Trade Center.
