As the year went on there wasn’t many things going on until we got to March when we went to Washington D.C it was a lot of fun got to see and learn a lot of cool things. After that we had solo ensemble a week after we got back before we were working hard on it and when we got back we really had to work hard to perfect and get everything refreshed. When solo ensemble came I got a two in my bass ensemble, a two in my chamber choir, a three in brass choir and a perfect ballot in my brass sextet. It wasn’t the best but I was pleased with my over all ratings. Then we started working on large group stuff and that was hard because we had to learn a lot of new music in a month but we did and we got a one in mixed choir, a two in men’s choir, a two in women’s, and a one in band. Before that was the variety show I played jazz band in that there was a lot of good and funny acts that performed. In April was prom but I wasn’t planning on going until someone asked me because their date wasn’t going it was a lot of fun and I’m glad I went even though I slipped and cut my leg open getting into the vehicle. May 11th was baccalaureate and that was emotional for the seniors and along with some of the juniors and underclassmen and parents because the seniors are leaving. I have a few friends that are seniors that I just met this year and even though I just met them this year I don’t want to see them go either. May 18th was graduation and there we said goodbye to our seniors and this first year as North Fayette Valley Tiger hawks comes to an end we have become a family not two separate schools North Fayette and valley but we have come together as one school.
