Butter Milk Brownies
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup oil (or crisco)
1/2 cup margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Pour into greassed and floured jelly roll pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min. or at 350 for 20-25 min.
Frosting
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Mix sugar, margarine, and milk, Boil for one minute. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and beat until thick enough to spread on brownies.
