The Graduation Trip
An unforgettable trip to the beautiful Hualien
This was probably the first time we were extremely excited to
wake up. We smiled eagerly and took our suitcases to the Taipei
Main Station. After saying goodbye to our parents, we jumped on
the train and got ready to start our graduation trip to Hualien.
2/13 Wednesday
When we arrived at Hualien, it stopped raining and
got warmer. Our first stop was the Chi-Shin Bay. Soft
sand, magnificent mountains, moon-shaped bay,
comfortable wind…, how fantastic! Next, we went to
the Chi-Shin Bonito Museum. It showed us how
bonitos were made and taught us some knowledge
about “fish”.
After having a lunch at the Chi-Hai-Wan Restaurant, we visited
the Hualien Air Base. We saw the F-16, the transport plane and
other planes took off and landing. The sound was so noisy that
the ground was even shaking! Then, we were heading to the
Taroko Gorge. The U-shaped deep valley was magnificent and
unique. It seemed a bit scary, though.
