We received the bills for this site and upon conducting our audit we herewith confirm that there is a savings possibility on this account when switching from Large Power User – Medium Voltage (current tariff) unt to Large Power User – Medium Voltage Time of Use. The proposed saving potential is in the region of ±R400, 000.00 per annum at a cost which Council will confirm when they have finalized their investigation. *Please note: that actual savings may vary with changes in consumption and load profile profile. Suggested Action: We have submitted the tariff change application to the Hospital Manager. The hospital manager is waiting for some documents from Finance Department at Head Office to submit with the application forms, as the tariff change will require a transfer of the guarantee from the current tariff to the new tariff. Once the forms have been signed and submitted at Council offices. We will confirm with Council when the Council tariff change will be switched over.
