Sometimes that beach resort looks better in the brochure than in Real Life. Article searches can have that effect, too. You thought you had the perfect keyword combo, but your results were not what you anticipated.
Instead of calling this trip a bust, take a moment. Then follow these tips to rescue your search:
- Look at your keyword list and swap out a term or two.
- Click on an article related to your topic and look at the Subject Headings. Experiment with these terms to find better results.
- Found a promising article but need more? Look at the citations to find more articles, then look them up in Journal Finder.
