3. What would you say to those who are new to sport / anxious about using the gym?
Everyone has to start somewhere and there’ s no better place than at university. At the end of the day, everyone in the gym is there for the same reason – ultimately because they want to get fit and feel good about themselves. There’ s a hugely diverse range of clubs to get involved with and I’ d say that GUSA reflects the diversity of the student body.
4. What is your go-to song when you need that extra bit of motivation?
Kanye West – POWER, Foals – My Number, Madonna – Ray of Light. Absolute choons.
5. What is your favourite exercise class / form of activity outside of your sport?
Super circuits are always a lot of fun and I’ m a big fan of just going out for a run.
6. If you decided to join a new GUSA club, what would be your top choice?
I’ d definitely like to give wakeboarding a try, it looks class!
7. Who / what inspired you to get involved with sport at university?
I had always been involved in sport at school but it was watching the rowing on TV during the 2012 Olympics that inspired me to join the boat Club at university.
