3. What would you say to those who are new to sport / anxious about using the gym?
Personally, I met my girlfriend in first year and I have never experienced any homophobia or negativity because of this. I know that across sport generally this is not the case for everyone, but at Glasgow we are open and inclusive, and I am extremely proud to be a part of that.
4. If you decided to join a new GUSA club, what would be your top choice?
I would love to try a martial arts club. I’ ve always wanted to try it but football has been priority throughout my life.
5. Who / what inspired you to get involved with sport at university?
I’ ve played football my whole life and therefore knew this would be a safe place for me upon arriving to a new place. A part from myself knowing I wanted to join football, the sports fair and the GUSA helpers encouraged me to do so.
