PREVENTIVE HEALTH By Deacon Charles & Kawaniee Flowe 3 John 1:2 New International Version (NIV) 2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, Refresh and Expect the Great: The Biggest Loser Challenge Let’s REFRESH our bodies; let’s REBRAND who we see in the mirror; let’s RECOMMIT to getting and staying in shape; let’s not only EXPECT THE GREATEST from ourselves, but let’s push one another to GREATER EXPECATIONS. In keeping with the theme of REFRESHING we are bringing back the BIGGEST EXPECTATION CHALLENGE. So let’s get out there and push one another. Husbands help your wives; wives help your husbands; kids help your parents; girlfriends help your boyfriends and boyfriends help your girlfriends show your kids what you can achieve with some commitment; and friends push one another. Church, let’s do this! The challenge is described in this article. Read it and let’s get started! I realize that it occurs over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but, this is a LIFESTYLE change. So, don’t let that alter your commitment!      We are launching a 10-week ‘Biggest Loser’ Program and we are inviting every member of LFCC to take part. Start: 1 November 2015 End: 10 January 2016 In addition to the spiritual fitness that our Pastor provides, this program is designed to encourage physical fitness. Everyone is encouraged to select an Accountability Partner. As partners, you are there to encourage each other to meet your goal. The managers of the program will be Sister Melanie Goods and Deacon Charles Flowe. Weigh-ins will be conducted every Saturday. Mel will be available to weigh the women and Charles will be available to weigh the men. Members may also conduct home weigh-ins and send results to either Mel or Charles. We will post a weekly combined LFCC weight loss total,
