GENERAL MANAGER
Letter From The General Manager
On behalf of the entire team , I want to pass along a genuinely grateful debt of gratitude for your very kind generosity as we distributed Holiday Bonuses to our team members in all departments , Golf , Food and Beverage , Sales and Maintenance . Given the challenges this past year in 2020 with short schedules and restricted hours , our teams have no less worked extremely hard to accomplish jobs more typically intended for larger teams . Meaning , we consistently accomplish more with less . I ’ m particularly proud to let you know we have team members across all departments who very seldom miss a day of work and several team members in 2020 , have not missed a day of work since joining the Indigo Team in late August and early September . Again , a very heartfelt thank you to all from the entire team !
We begin 2021 at a particularly difficult time , but not without hope and strategies for a very successful New Year and New Season here at Lexington Golf and Country Club . We will clearly need and desire your full support working with us as you have this past year to make your Club your most trusted provider of fun and enjoyable times on the course , at the pool , on the courts or in the grill with your families , friends , guests and fellow members .
Until we get beyond this cloud of covid , we will be relentless in keeping you and our team members safe , healthy and hopefully far more than simply just satisfied in your association with Lexington Golf and Country Club .
If you ’ re a club member , whether long-standing or perhaps just recently joined , our collective goal is to create an excitement about the club you ’ ll be willing to share with others you know in and around the local community . Be sure to watch for some fun ways we want to make it worth your while to invite friends and neighbors to join the club .
If you ’ re a team member , whether long-standing ( thank you Betty Jo , Gloria , Jeff and Deborah ) or relatively new , our collective goal is to make your work environment at the club the best you have known , where you are able to do your very best work every day creating fun and memorable experiences for our members , their friends , families and guests . Be sure to watch for some fun ways we want to make it worth your while to recommend to your friends and neighbors to come fill out an application to join the team .
Essentially , we want 2020 to be all about getting beyond this cloud of covid , growing , expanding to experience fun and enjoyable times here at your club again , just as you have done in the past , just as you wish to do in the future . Please know how seriously sincere we are as your service team to make 2021 one of the best years ever for Lexington Golf and Country Club .
Here ’ s to new beginnings and a New Year !
Cheers !
