Wonomulyo, a Second Family

People said work is work. Don’ t mix friendship with work because it might get ugly.

In my experience, if I don’ t have friends in the place where I worked, I would have gone crazy. I work as an implementor, and for my current project, it goes without saying that I would need to be relocated a few times. One of the most memorable places was in Wonomulyo. I’ m sure some of my colleagues have told stories about their designated cities and the beauty of it.
Wonomulyo doesn’ t boasts amazing beaches or green forest. It doesn’ t have the magic of volcano or the mythical archipelago. What it does have, however, is amazing people who are open, friendly, and have the ability to make newcomers feel like family.
When we first started coming and training them with distribution techniques and other technical whiz, they all greeted us with laughter and warm smiles. Within one week, we’ re taking trips around Wonomulyo together. I get to taste the slightly different way the

I get to know the insight of their own culture, the way they drive, their tempers, and their habits of saying‘ sorry’ and‘ excuse me’ so much. I also get to experience firsthand their sense of humor, how easy it was for them to accept and trust other people.
