Please note; this online course delivers and assesses the theory
part of the Level 2 Safer Moving and Handling of People Course.
The final part of the course is the practical training and candidates
will not have completed this course until both, the theory and the
practical part (which will be arranged with your trainer) are
successfully completed.
Refreshed is recommended on a annual basis.
Please be aware that certain techniques taught are venue specific
and you should contact your instructor should you require further
training in order to carry out specific safer moving and handling of
people techniques not covered by this course.

Learning Outcomes:
?Identify poor practices when handling people
?Demonstrate appropriate techniques for handling people (To be
carried out on Practical course!!)
?Understand the health and safety and manual handling
regulations
?Identify how to assess client safety through risk assessment
(on both theory and practical course)
?Understand the need for safe use of equipment
?Highlight the risks to self and the client relating to poor posture,
practice and poor technique
?Highlight associated cost and statistics relating to injuries from
poor handling in the work place (on both theory and practical
course)
