Otherwise;
Shoes aren’t the only thing that will be embellished with shearling this winter. All your favorite coats, jackets, and blazers will be adorned with shearling.
Evening Wear
With pieces such as the LBD and a classic lady in red dress, it’s hard to believe that the hottest tones for evening wear this season will be soft, light pastel tones. These tones consist of baby pinks, sky blues and lovely lemons. The colors will have you feeling royal.
Now with all the dressing up one can’t forget about having the perfect handbag. I have one syllable for you “clutch”. The hottest designers all used clutches to add to their pieces classic designs need classic accessories to top it off, and plus who wants to carry around a big tote bag and hide their sense of fashion.
Fashion nips-and-tucks
An Oversized tunic it doesn’t matter if you’re a size 0 or a size 22 an oversized top leaves everything to the imagination. So you can go ahead and hide that little food baby you’ll get from thanksgiving dinner.
Need some curves? Try a wide, stretchy-waist pant. They’ll accentuate your curves but they feel like pajamas; and if you feel like you don’t want to show the world your stretchy pants you can always throw a belt around it.
Wide-legged pants now you have to be careful not everyone can pull off this trendy look. Wide-legged pants have the effect of slimming the waistline making you look slimmer.
Leggings Again I say not everyone can pull off this look. Leggings accentuate your legs and you wouldn’t want to accentuate what you don’t have. Leggings are also great for those like myself who don’t like to wear skinny jeans every day or for those who need extra padding when it gets extra cold outside.
Big scarves scarves are always a great to accessorize but please let’s not wear any scarves that are twice of your body.
Hats hats are always the best accessory. Especially when we are having a bad hair day ladies! Well the next time you stop at the hair store try picking up a beanie hat. You can never go wrong with that.
As winter approaches we will need a coat to keep us warm yes? Well opt for a black trench with a belt. Yes, there goes that word again: belt. One more hot color to look out for in the fall/winter season is purple. Are we sensing a theme here? Purple=Royal. It seems to me that we’re taking a page out of Prince William and Duchess Kate.
Well there you have it my version of the 2012-2013 stylebook. I hope your season is magical and you’re fashionably warm through the months to come.
