STYLEBOOK: FALL/WINTER TRENDS 2012-2013
As we step foot into the fall/winter season, I think it is important to know what we will need and what will be helpful for us in the months to come. I took it upon myself to research and create a stylebook to get you through those long, cold, stylish nights.
This fall when go shopping think of these words; Sexy, classy, and classic. Most of these styles that I will review will be things you probably have in your closet so you won’t have to worry about your pocketbook because style always repeats itself.
Let’s talk color. While I was going through look books the colors that were shown were pretty bland. That means, all the basic colors that we all know and love such as brown, black, taupe, winter white, gray, and some dark blues. The designers did try their best to play up the colors in their shows. Some designers used some reds and brighter blues. For the evening wear, designers tried using pinks and silvery tones.
SOMETHING TO LOOK OUT FOR: Hint: It’s something you wear around your waist to keep your pants up. You guessed it a belt! That’s the accessory to look for and it doesn’t have to be a plain belt there are plenty to choose from. Structured belts, edgy belts, and even fun quirky belts are you be looked for this season.
Now let’s talk shoes. Additional to your rain boots and trendy flats you can look out for your fur. You also might want to look out for FEMA. Shearling edged shoes are a must this season if you would like to be comfortable, stylish and warm. Now, for those of you who don’t exactly know what shearling really consists of here’s a little one on one. Shearling is a sheepskin or lambskin pelt that has gone through a limited shearing process to obtain a uniform depth of the wool fibers for a uniform look and feel. Otherwise;
