Sarah Thomas – best known for her longrunning role in ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ – will play Cinderella’s magical Fairy Godmother. Sarah was one of the original cast members of ‘Summer Wine’, appearing as Glenda Wilkinson from 1986 to 2010, when the final series was broadcast. She also played Enid Simmons in the iconic 1980s children’s series ‘Worzel Gummidge’. The children’s favourite this year is Jonny Freeman, who plays a leading role in the popular CBBC Sci-if adventure series, ‘M.I. High’. He appears as school caretaker Frank London, who leads a double life as a spymaster in charge of a team of young secret agents.
