You can ‘bank’ on Endon for
a weekend of well dressing
celebrations this May
n the Moorlands the May bank holiday weekend
is synonymous with Endon Well Dressing, an
ancient custom steeped in history which has
over the years developed into a three day annual
community celebration.
Festivities this year take place on Saturday
24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May,
organised by Endon’s Well Dressing Festival
Charity, (a registered charity) the trustees of which
are responsible for the maintenance of the well on
behalf of the residents of Endon.
The trustees who form a working committee are
responsible for or
