My confinement diary...

Have you ever stayed at home for 2 months without ever going out beyond your garden or balcony? And if YOU HAVE THE urge to break the rule, you will pay the consequences.
This diary is not a futuristic story, no, it’s 2020 and the world is overrun by a deadly pandemic called Covid-19. The world hurts, and so do we.
I learned ABOUT the confinement yesterday: Monday, March 16. We were confined to our home and the 12 million students in France had no classes until further notice. SupermarketS, bakerIES butcher’S SHOPS, newsagentS, pharmacIES and food shops had been robbed by the population. The shelves were completely empty, as in times of war. “We are at war”, the president continued to repeat with a serious air. Everyone was making provisions for pasta, rice, toilet paper AND oil… People are selfish.
What kind of person can stay at home with his OR HER family for company alone without committing murder? Argh…
I saw the news in France; 7730 infected by the virus and 175 deaths.
