Cholesterol-molecule Testosterone-molecule Cholesterols are transferred in our blood circulation with the help of certain lipoproteins. There are 2 types of lipoproteins HDL (high density lipoprotein) and LDL (low density lipoprotein), often referred as “good cholesterol” and “bad cholesterol”. This is because the LDL has a lower density of protein, making it less soluble in water and blood. This makes it easier for the LDL to get stuck in blood vessels, increasing the chance for cardiovascular diseases. 15
