Basic Home Repairs – Electrical
This class is designed for the electrical beginner. Learn how to wire single
pole, 3-way switches, outlets and light fixtures, and then test the circuit.
Discuss the home electrical system and review procedures to rewire a lamp.
Bring a wire stripper, straight slot and Phillips screwdriver and a long-nose

Basic Home Repairs – Plumbing
Do you have a leaky faucet but don't want to pay to have the entire fixture
replaced? Well, you may not have to. Learn to repair minor plumbing
problems or replace fixtures and save precious money in the process. You
will take apart different types of faucets, replace a pop-up drain assembly
and discuss the internal working parts of a toilet. You will practice cutting
and gluing plastic pipe, plus cutting and soldering copper pipe and fittings. A
$5.00 supply fee for a Step by Step Guidebook to Home Plumbing is payable
