Successful Composting
Composting converts waste plant
material, such as grass clippings,
leaves and kitchen scraps to a very
useful organic soil amendment
known as “black gold.” The finished
compost can be used as mulch or as
a soil amendment to improve the
garden soil. This class will help you
learn how to build, maintain, and
troubleshoot a compost pile, as well
as uses for the finished compost in
your yard and gardens.
