Become acquainted with the many
advantages of the contemporary
stovetop pressure cooker. Learn the
four rules for safe pressure cooking,
and you can roll out delicious, quick
dishes in minutes instead of hours.
Combine fall vegetables with high-
protein, low-cost, healthy dried
legumes and economy meats for
substantial dinners/salads. Learn
what to look for and what to avoid
in buying a pressure cooker (and
there's lots to avoid). If you have
a stovetop pressure cooker you've
been avoiding, bring it to class and
learn to cook with it. Food cost of
$10 payable in class. Bring scrubby/
sponge and towel for cleanup plus
containers for leftovers. This class

Scones
NEW
Traditional Scottish scones are a
delectable quick bread that comes
in assorted shapes. Prepare a variety
of easy recipes highlighting dried
fruits as well as lemon cream and
the traditional current scone. Make a
white chocolate spread in class, plus
try lemon curd and whipped cream
as a topping. An $11 food cost is

with whole grains like farro, freekah,
quinoa, and oat groats, here's
the 3-hour playground for you!
Combined with high seasoning, small
amounts of meat and/or plenty of
vegetables or nuts, these ancient
powerhouses pack lots of flavor and
staying power into a single bowl.
Bring your best cutting knife, several
quart-sized baggies for bringing

14) with your homemade pie. Learn
techniques that result in a perfect
fruit pie every time. You'll leave class
with a pie you've baked yourself
and extensive instructions for
reproducing it at home. A food fee of
$13 is payable to the instructor. Bring
a small box to carry home your warm
pie, a scrubby/sponge and towel for
