Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tour
NEW ! Take a ride down the river and shop at Sprouting Out Cheese and Buffalo Store ! The tour leaves Gladstone ( 1945 Manton St , Maplewood 55109 ) at 9:30 and returns to the same location at approximately 2:45 pm . The fee includes motor coach transportation , cruise , sack lunch , coffee or a bottle of water . If you plan to purchase cheese , bring a thermal bag . Cancellation policy : A $ 15 processing fee will be deducted from the refund when canceling on or before September 5 . No refunds after this date .

American Swedish Institute ’ s Holiday Exhibition NEW ! Experience one of Minneapolis ’ most talked about holiday destinations , ASI ’ s Nordic Holiday Rooms – a celebratory exploration of Nordic holiday traditions and customs all under one roof . Step back in time and experience the exquisite 33-room Turnblad Mansion , and the American Swedish Institute . This guided tour provides a close-up look at detailed wood carvings , sculpted ceilings and hand-crafted Swedish tile stoves plus facts and history of the fascinating Turnblad family , the art and architecture of the mansion and the history of early Minneapolis . Following the tour , you will enjoy a Smorgasboard luncheon of traditional Swedish dishes and then spend time in the Bokhandel Gift Shop or return to the mansion for some additional viewing time of the exhibit .
