JMC LC Visits
Webber-Shandwick and GSD&M!
Residents not only got tours of the public relations and
advertising firms on February 18, but also an introduction
to Huts Hamburgers! Special thanks to Harry Bowers for
his work and for driving!
Cross the Line: RA Carlos Hernandez asked a series
of questions about identity on November 8. Residents
crossed the line if it applied to them. Residents felt that
the event helped them appreciate diversity and have a
better understanding of their community.
Faculty Dinner: A few residents enjoyed dinner with
John Zmikly in Commons dining hall on February 25.
PUG Prep: LC study groups have been happening
throughout the semester in preparation for the PUG!
No-one has taken it yet… Who will be first?
Career Advising: Allison Birk from Career Services
stopped by Tower hall on January 29 to speak with the
LC about their future.
Resident Spotlight: Malik Mingo

Bobcat Build: Ten residents from the LC spent March
29 volunteering at Bobcat Build.
It's really cool to live with people
who have the same passions that
you do. It's cool that we are in Careers in Media, which is a class we
got to take. We talk about career
exploration and then we actually
get to go see those people in those
careers with the LC. It was very
beneficial .

Announcements
We’re extremely pleased to welcome Mr. Carlos Hernandez back as the LC’s RA for 2014-2015. In addition to being on
the Dean’s List for the past three semesters and an RA, Carlos keeps himself busy as an orientation leader, fraternity
member, and social media coordinator for the College of Fine Arts and Communication.
The LC is already full for 2014-2015. Thirty new members will move in to Tower hall on August 16-17.
