4. Requests for Leave: Requests for leave must be done through email. The way of
leaving message on SKYPE considered ineffective. Requests for leave must be told clearly
about Leave number and the date back to class, and received a reply as the basis

For the protection of the interests of both students and teachers, we strictly enforce the
following leave policies.

1. Teachers' leave (no matter what the reason) must be notified (6-12 hours before the
class time). If a teacher didn’t ask for leave in advance, the teacher needs to do a makeup
class to the student without pay.

2. Students' leave (no matter what the reason) must be notified (6-12 hours before the
class time). If a student didn’t ask for a leave in advance, their teacher will still get paid for
the missed lesson, and the student will be marked ABSENT in his/her attendance sheet. No
makeup class will be done.

3. A student who isn't online within 15 minutes from the start of his/her class, is
automatically considered absent.

4. A teacher who isn't online within 15 minutes from the start of the student's class is
automatically considered absent and will need to give one free class to the student.
Requests for leave can be done through email or by personally informing your teacher via
her email address or orally during class. Requests for leave on Skype shall only be done if
your teacher is online as some offline messages may not be received.
