Mike was a seasoned missionary with guttural street Russian, and Becky was a fresh-faced newbie who shook her head with disdain at the way he slaughtered the language. Every new rule sent down the pipeline seemed to be the result of Michael’s antics. Needless to say, Becky was pleased when Mike went home to his “smoking hot” girlfriend in Vegas. Becky returned to BYU where she was studying nutrition and the Russian language. There, through a mutual friend Travis, she was reintroduced to Mike. A person, she had secretly hoped to avoid.
