socially and emotionally, and that they graduate college- and career-ready.
In 2011-12 our Board voted to phase
in our Full Service Community Schools
model, starting with schools in our district
that needed immediate attention based on
academic scores, school climate indices, and
attendance percentages. We started with
five full service schools, including both of
our comprehensive high schools. The next
year we added 10, and this academic year
all 24 schools are Full Service Community
Schools.
