• Use the addition of ACSA Diversity and Equal Access Executive Nicole Anderson, in collaboration with the legislative advocate in the Member Services Department (Sal Villaseñor), to help grow, diversify and enhance African American and Latino membership and directly support the EADS Committee. • Establish a mentoring program that supports new administrators, administrators changing jobs, and superintendents in need of mentoring tools for their administrators. This includes a strategic focus on administrators of color and administrators who serve students of color. • Provide an Equity Toolkit/framework resource that will be available to all members in print, online and on the ACSA app. It will provide detailed and practical resources for leaders to address issues around equity and diversity. It will also include a step-by-step guide, ready-to-use documents, research and data, best practices, funding sources, a contact list of experts, and articles that directly support implementation of best practices around 10 Leadership equity. It will provide a framework for addressing equity within ACSA and in school districts, with a specific focus on fostering courageous conversations that sustain growth for student achievement. • Create an equity category on the new ACSA blog to foster ongoing conversations around equity and diversity. Practitioners and school community members will be able to post best practices and participate in courageous conversations on acsablog.org. • Develop stronger partnerships within ACSA departments and with outside organizations such as CAAASA and CALSA, as well as national and global groups, to share ideas and develop solutions that promote diversity and equity goals for African American and Latino Administrators.
