holding on to your faith in Christ no matter what, that shouts of God’ s power and grace in your life. It’ s easy to be full of faith when everything is going your way. Everyone’ s healthy. Bills are all paid. Business is good. But when things are falling apart and you’ re still full of faith, that points to something supernatural. It grabs people’ s attention.
Your Pain Will Make You More Like Jesus
God uses the detours and delays in our life to refine us. Romans 8:28 is a familiar scripture often quoted to help give courage in times of uncertainty.“ And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
This verse is filled with certainty. It says we know, not we hope. Not we think or wish, but we can be certain that“ God causes all things to work together.” Even when we can’ t see it, He’ s working. He is the Master Designer, working everything— even the mistakes, the hurts, the disappointments— all together for our good. It doesn’ t say that everything will be good or feel good. It may be painful, but God will work it for our good.
