In January of 2020 , I was led of the Lord to begin a 21-day fast . During that time , I received a powerful vision by the power of the Holy Spirit in which I saw Jesus overturning the tables in the temple . What I heard Jesus say while turning over the tables surprised me : “ I am turning everything upside in my Church !” Next the word REVOLUTION rose up in my spirit , and I knew something big was coming . Little did I know the world events that would soon follow , and that the entire world , including the Church as we knew it , would be turned upside down from the effects of a world pandemic !
In Matthew 21:13 we read : And he said to them , “ It is written . ‘ My house shall be called a house of prayer ,’ but you have made it a ‘ den of thieves .’”
Jesus also said , in Matthew 6:33 , “ But seek ye first the kingdom of God , and his righteousness ; and all these things shall be added unto you .” For some time now , it has deeply grieved my heart to witness the way western ministry operates , and I have asked the Lord , what can be done ? Could it be possible that the church needs revolutionizing ? I am certain some revivalists would say so , but what about denominational and large mega-style churches ? As I have prayed and sought the Lord , three grievances have emerged regarding the way Christian ministry is taking place within the modern western church today :
Issue 1 : The practice of merchandising the body of Christ for selfish ambition and personal gain
Issue 2 : The practice of running ministry like a business corporation
Issue 3 : Quenching the Holy Spirit
The definition of “ revolution ” means , “ a sudden radical , or complete change ; the idea of reversal ; to renounce allegiance .” In other words , revolution could imply the idea of “ rolling back ” from a prior bond of loyalty .
In many ways , the Church as a whole is walking into a season of revolution in more ways than we could have imagined two years ago . Churches closed for a season . Some re-opened with only 1 / 3 of their former congregations returning , and some have closed permanently . Christians are now being censored and banned on various public and social media platforms while their children are being indoctrinated with transgenderism , homosexuality and critical race theory in their schools . In America alone , abortion has taken more than 63 million lives . Meanwhile , our America has become the laughing stock of the nations as we watch the horrors following the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan , leaving their people defenseless in the midst of the tyrannical regime of the Taliban . Turmoil is reaching the nations while the Ukraine suffers bombings , leaving the world questioning if we are facing World War 3 .
And yet , we know Jesus is still on the throne ! We ’ ve seen revival break out all over the world as the remnant arises out of the ashes of defeat with fresh oil , fresh fire and a chain breaking anointing from a pure unadulterated love for Jesus ! Truly a JESUS REVOLUTION has come , and the manifested sons of God are arising with grace , favor and power like we ’ ve never seen in generations past ! Truly , we are in a historic season and the end time harvest is here ! We must thrust in our sickles and reap , for “ many are perishing for a lack of knowledge ” ( Hosea 4:6 ). Jesus declares , “ Arise and Shine , for the glory of the LORD has risen upon you !” ( Isaiah 60:1 )
