The man ’ s doctor struggled with how he should break the news to the unfortunate man . “ Sir , I ’ m sorry ; it is the worst possible outcome we could have imagined . Test results indicate that you have rabies . We will do all we can to make you comfortable . But I cannot give you false hope . There is nothing we can do to cure you . My best advice is that you put your affairs in order as soon as possible .”
