keep the relationship fresh. Don’t just be with
your mate, chillin’ in the bed, watching movies.
What happened to the pursuit? What happened
to showing interest? Finding out more about
each other? Connecting? Intentional dates
between a married couple are a time for you
to talk about things you might not talk about
while you’re busy taking care of business in your
everyday lives.

But there’s more. The thing about married dates
that’s different from single dates is, it’s okay if
they end up in bed. In fact, that’s the best kind
of married dates. You should be having a lot of
those!
You’ll keep changing as you grow older. So will
your mate. You’ll have new dreams and goals. So
will your mate. You chose this mate because you
believed he or she would be a godly support, and
both of you need a marriage that continues to
be mutually supportive, with or without kids in
the house. So, keep going through the process.
Work on your singleness, and date the one you
love throughout your marriage.
