you won ’ t have good courage . In time , your provisions will run out , and you will turn back and return to the enemy . If that ’ s you , please , get on your knees now and plead with God to give you a revelation of His holiness and a revelation of your sinful heart . Then fully place your faith in Jesus as your sin bearer , and trust him with all your heart , mind , soul , and strength . In doing so , you will be ready to achieve the greatness the world despises but a greatness that is extolled by the Word of God :
And what more shall I say ? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah , also of David and Samuel and the prophets : who through faith subdued kingdoms , worked righteousness , obtained promises , stopped the mouths of lions , quenched the violence of fire , escaped the edge of the sword , out of weakness were made strong , became valiant in battle , turned to flight the armies of the aliens . ( Heb . 11:32 – 34 )
Again , the greatness God loves is different from the greatness the world extols . To achieve the divine honor roll , we don ’ t have to be rich , powerful , famous , brilliant , or talented . We need only see Him who is invisible .
When the famous cofounder of Apple , Inc ., died on October 5 , 2011 , he was reportedly worth $ 10.2 billion .
But Steve Jobs was a pauper compared to Amazon founder , Jeff Bezos . According to Business Insider , in just 12 months , Bezos earned $ 6.54 billion a month , more than $ 1.5 billion a week , and more than $ 215 million a day . Per hour , he made an unbelievable $ 8,961,187 . That ’ s $ 149,353 every minute .

But Jeff Bezos is a pauper compared to Solomon .
According to the Bible , King Solomon ruled from 970 BC to 931 BC , and during this time he is said to have received 25 tonnes [ over 27 tons ] of gold for each of the 39 years of his reign , which would be worth billions of dollars today . Along with impossible riches amassed from taxation and trade , the biblical ruler ’ s personal fortune could have surpassed $ 2 trillion (£ 1.4tn ) in today ’ s money .
All three of these men , at least in some way , acknowledge that the massive amount of money they ’ ve seen in their lives isn ’ t everything . Earlier , I shared the powerful key to success that Steve Jobs discovered : “ Remembering that I ’ ll be dead soon is the most important tool I ’ ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life . Because almost everything . . . fall [ s ] away in the face of death , leaving only what is truly important .”
When he died , Steve Jobs left $ 10,200,000,000 .
