Pictured above are NEMS 8 th graders participating in the recent Reality Fair held at Meridian
Community College’s Workforce Development Center. The Reality Fair is a culmination of a
unit on Financial Literacy covered in 8 th grade Cyber Foundations II classes and is sponsored by
MUNA Federal Credit Union and other local businesses.
In addition, this year students were able to tour the MCC Workforce Development Center to see
the various opportunities available there for training in careers such as construction, welding,
and more.
