Happenings 

This year’s Red Ribbon Week concluded 
with Halloween Costumes on a rainy 
Thursday, but so much fun was had by 
all! 

Mrs. Deeb and her ​ HOSA Officers 
attended Fall Leadership Conference in 
Pascagoula, MS at Pascagoula College & 
Career Technical Institute where they 
participated in leadership sessions and 
learned about HOSA competitions. 

NHS Seniors visit EMCC’s ​ Scooba 
campus as part of EMCC's First Fridays. 
Our students learned about the college 
through orientation-like sessions, took 
campus tours, heard about 
career-technical offerings and were 
treated to lunch in the Student Union. 

This year Mrs. Kelley Davis was chosen 
as NHS Teacher of the Year! She was 
surprised at the conclusion of our 
Veteran’s Day program with this honor 
and joined by her family to celebrate!  

And last, but not 
least, NHS is the 
proud owner of the 
coveted GOLDEN 
PHONE for LCSD’s 
OUTREACH AWARD!
