7 th Grade Science Students Cook
Pancakes to Demonstrate Physical
and Chemical Change
Laura Giles and Sonja Hardy’s seventh grade science
classes learned about the various properties of matter.
At the end of the unit, they cooked pancakes to
demonstrate physical and chemical change.
Advanced Degrees
NEMS teachers Sonja Hardy, Elizabeth Knight and
Brittany Pippin all earned advanced degrees
recently.
Top Chocolate Sellers
Top Chocolate Sales have been announced! They
were rewarded with chocolate and money! They
were also entered into a drawing based the number
of boxes sold. Top seller, Shazaria Collins, sold 17
boxes! 2nd- Ja’eda Sneed, 3rd - Delilah Sykes.
