Northeast High School
February was a great month 
to be a Northeast TROJAN! 
The Trojan Nation is so very proud of our girls’
basketball team which is headed to its third
round of playoffs this Friday at Mississippi
Valley State vs. Ripley!

Tyler Smith received the Burlsworth
Sportsmanship Character Award and we are
all so proud!
Our special guest speaker for our 2020 Black
History Program was the ​ Honorable
Constance Slaughter-Harvey, the first African
American woman to graduate from The
University of Mississippi Law School (Ole Miss
Law School) in 1970 and the first female
African American judge in the State Of
Mississippi. The theme of her speech was
“Courage is Contagious.”
These students went to theRegional Science
Fair at Mississippi State and placed as
