Manuel Reina high school celebrated Halloween with different activities. Students in 2nd CSE made posters about well-known horror characters such as Billy the Puppet, Leatherface, Frankenstein’s monster or Annabelle. That was our task, so we decorated a corner of the classroom with the posters and we voted for the best one. In our group the winner was Billy the Puppet.
The other groups also took part in fun activities. Students in 1st CSE made posters about Halloween vocabulary and used them to decorate their classroom. Did you see our celebrities’ cemetery in the school’s hall? That was created by students in 3rd CSE using cardboard and other materials. You could see the tombs of famous English-speaking characters like Elvis Presley, Queen Elizabeth II or Agatha Christie. Somebody said that even people in the town came in to see the graves. Finally, students in 4th CSE made shorts films about horror movies.
Moreover, the students’ association sold some homemade candies during the break and the library was also decorated by volunteer students.
In our opinion, it’s good for all students because we work in teams and cooperate to decorate the school while we have fun and learn some culture. The school looked spooky.
