Our clients wanted additional exposure in the rapidly growing Hispanic market , so Mañana Marketing was founded to bring additional media programs to our clients .

Jolie Gonzalez / LatinTimes : What Latino / a , living or deceased do you consider to be a role-model ? Why or how ? Ileana Devin : My father and my mother has always been an inspiration to do the right thing and has always encouraged to me to be the best that I can be .

Ileana Devin : In the early stages of our business development there was a great deal of negativity from people who didn ’ t believe that I would be able to accomplish what I had set out to do which was starting one of the best Hispanic Yellow Pages in US . We succeeded in Tampa and grow to Orlando , Houston , and Texas with additional partnerships in Miami and Ft Lauderdale .
Jolie Gonzalez / LatinTimes : Tell us about your family ? Ileana Devin : My family means everything to me . I have a wonderful son Ryan 16 . My husband has always been my partner in life and in our business ventures . We are a very tight knit family .

Takes onecalculated step at a time , along the way you may stumble but keep your eye on your dream and your momentum moving forward .

Damaris Rivera : I am a marketing professional for the Law Firm of Byrd and Gonzalez , which specializes in personal injury law . I help people who have been in accidents or who have lost a loved one due to negligence . I enjoy being able to help my community during this difficult time .
Jolie Gonzalez / Latin Times : How did you choose or get involved with your profession ? Damaris Rivera : Well , I actually started in the medical profession as a Medical Assistant- worked with different providers from pediatrician to neurologist , did clinical studies and then started working in collections . From that point on , because of my expertise , experience , and marketing abilities , a law firm hired me .
Jolie Gonzalez / Latin Times : What is your definition of the word success ? Damaris Rivera : Success , is working hard to achieve a goal , never quitting-failure has never been an option . Therefore , we can ’ t be defeated .
Jolie Gonzalez / Latin Times : What Latino / a , living or deceased do you consider to be a role ? Why or How ? Damaris Rivera : My father is my role model-he raised me with values and principles that I have applied in my life- he was my hero and I am who I am because of him .

Damaris Rivera : The toughest part in being a Latina businesswoman is juggling my kids ’ schedules and my job at the same time . I was my children ’ s mascot for their league , working at the concession stand and later in the evening , I would be at business meeting .
