Saludos my friends!
Welcome to this, our second issue of The SEED Magazine! I hope you enjoy it!
So here we are, its been about 1 year since I published the first edition of The Seed Magazine, and in all that time, we were just so busy with everything – the other magazine -Latin Times Magazine, the festivals- Cuban Sandwich Festival, Taste of Latino and others! Plus family, home, LIFE, etc, etc. There was always something that prevented me from creating the next issue – I must have sat there in front of this screen for the last 2 weeks, letting this all sink in…. that SHOCK we all probably felt at just how much the world had changed in the last month.
To say that I was at a loss for words.. is just an understatement, I looked around the world and everywhere I saw fear, anger, confusion, desperation, anxiety and even despair, and not for the first time, I found myself wondering about the uncertainty of our future – and when I say “our”, I don’t mean “our” as in me or mine…. But rather, “OUR” future – as a whole…all of us… mankind.
We are living in a time, that our children, our grand children and our great grand children will read about in history books…. The last time I remember feeling this desperate type of uncertain fear was back on September 11th, 2000 – shortly after I had first started my first publication – C.L.U.B. (City of Latin Urban Beats) Magazine – On that day, I felt lost, alone – scared -uncertain of the future – that feeling of loss and fear was NOTHING compared to how I have been feeling for the last 2 weeks. – I am not alone in this -I know, besides the fact that I have my wonderful husband with me -and my loving family – I also have the world with me----
Today, I/we (Victor and I are putting our foot DOWN against fear, against anxiety, against desperation, against despair and we are lifting our hearts and voice in praise, in hope, that we may be a light to all those that are so desperately in need.
We are very excited to announce Gods PLAN for us!
In addition to the Resurrection of our e-Magazine “The Seed”, we are also starting a daily schedule (for the next 2 weeks) then we will go to a weekly online Video Show.
