There is a common and incorrect generalization that in order to practice yoga, you
must be physically flexible. If you believe this is so, read the first two paragraphs of
this article one more time. Just like any physical sport, you don’t start with the
natural abilities to do it. Start at the basics, stay there until you’re ready to move on
to more difficult poses. You might never feel the need to move on to more difficult
poses. That’s fine! As long as you move your body.
