The agreement sees the region’s leading pay-TV provider acquiring the first two series of Mister Maker Comes to Town (51 X 20’) as well as renewing their agreement with Zodiak for the first three series of Mister Maker (60 X 20’) for Discovery Kids. Since launching on Discovery Kids in August 2008, Mister Maker has become one of the most popular pre-school personalities in Latin America inspiring thousands of children across the region to unleash their artistic talents. The second franchise, Mister Maker Comes to Town has been broadcasting on Discovery Kids since September, 2012. Zodiak Kids recently announced that a brand new 26 X 19 minute series, Mister Maker around the World, is in production H with The Foundation. As part of the filming for the new series, Mister Maker visited Rio de Janiero in June and met children to learn about art in Latin America and made new projects with them inspired by their local culture. Broadcast in over 100 countries, Mister Maker is a huge international star and has a substantial fan base in Latin America, where all three 20 minute series are also available on Netflix as well as Discovery Kids. Mister Maker is so popular in the territory that over 50% of all official Mister Maker Facebook fans come from Latin America. As a result of the popularity of Mister Maker in the region, and success of the licensing programme to date, including Mister Maker craft workshops across malls in Brazil, Zodiak Kids are pleased to announce the renewal of Exim Licensing as the licensing agent for Mister Maker in Latin America. Exim Licensing will have the exclusive rights for merchandising, promotions, print publications and events.
