New to our stock this year and a plant rarely seen in UK gardens is Hesperaloe Parviflora . Also known as the Red or False Yucca . Hesperaloe Parvifloa is native to Texas and Northeasten Mexico throwing out red or yellow flowers on stalks up to 5ft high from late spring to mid-summer .
This truly exotic looking plant can deal with the worst our climate can throw at it . With good drainage it can take temperatures as low as -25 , but is also able to tolerate extreme heat and drought . Spineless foliage , virtually no maintenance and its slow growth rate makes Hesperaloe Parvifola ideal for planters and roof gardens .
Year-on-year our sales of Jasminum Glaucum ( Multipartitum ) grows . It ’ s easy to understand why with its large star flowers , fantastic perfume and continuous flowering from late spring to the end of summer , this Jasmine does not disappoint . Native to south Africa , enjoying both sun and semi shade , this beautiful plants will take temperatures down to -6C or even lower some believe . Another exotic ideal for the UK .
