Gilbert Michaelson will not only talk about how paint correction and polishing is done but will also give you a baseline of knowledge about why paint correction and polishing is done in the first place , what actually happens when you are polishing your car and why polishing makes car paints look better as well as identifying common paint defects .

This session covers everything from the basic principles of cutting , marking out and pattern making , to learning how to stretch and shrink metal to form a curved flange on a flat panel , accurately and cleanly – all using traditional hand tools and a wheeling machine .
